EMAC lists second fund on Channel Islands Stock Exchange

29th May 2007, London – Emerging Markets Advisory Corporation Group (‘EMAC’), the asset management and advisory firm focused on emerging Europe, today announced that two EMAC sponsored limited partnerships comprising part of its second institutional fund, EMAC Illyrian Land Fund 2 (‘ILF2’), have been admitted to the Official List of the Channel Islands Stock Exchange LBG (‘CISX’).
ILF2, which is currently being marketed to institutional investors in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, will focus on real estate and private equity investment opportunities in a number of key markets in South Eastern Europe including Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
The Fund will make investments in prime sites with potential across a number of high-growth segments of the real estate sector including residential, commercial and tourism. ILF2’s core strategy will be to make direct real estate investments in land, as well as potentially acquiring companies with undervalued real estate assets.

EMAC’s first fund, EMAC Illyrian Land Fund 1 (‘ILF1’), closed in June 2006 with commitments of €72 million and is now fully committed to investments in 15 development sites in Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Georgia, principally in the leisure and residential property segments. ILF1 completed a listing on the CISX in April this year.
