EMAC EXPANDS CORPORATE FINANCE TEAM

12 December 2006

London – Emerging Markets Advisory Corporation Group (EMAC), the asset management and advisory firm focused on opportunities in South Eastern Europe and Transcaucasia, announced today that it has expanded its corporate finance team with the appointment of Angela Gyuveszy as a Director, its third senior hire in as many months. The appointment closely follows that of Rob Grant and Monika Bojarska, who both joined the corporate finance team as Directors in September.

Angela has more than 15 years’ experience in banking and investment management with a strong focus on South Eastern and Central Europe. She joins EMAC from GoEast Ventures where she was an Investment Manager responsible for a venture fund with a portfolio of 18 investments. Prior to joining GoEast Ventures, Angela was at Bank of America where she was responsible for structuring asset-based loans for buy-outs. Previously, she was an investment professional at GE Equity, focusing on European growth capital and buy-out investments in the mid-cap sector, including transactions in Eastern Europe.

Her responsibility within EMAC will include sourcing, advising on and implementing deals across South Eastern Europe and Transcaucasia, as well as acting as an investment director for EMAC’s existing and future investment funds.

Matthew Gilpin, Chief Executive of EMAC Capital, commented:
“We are currently seeing a growing number of interesting deals across our core markets of South Eastern Europe and Transcaucasia and we expect the rate of deal flow to increase considerably into 2007 and beyond. Angela is an experienced investment professional with a broad knowledge of the region in which we operate, and her appointment significantly increases our capacity to source and implement a wide range of deals in the region.”
