Matjaž Prinčič - Group Chief Investment Officer;
Matjaz, a Slovene citizen, is a highly experienced project and investment manager and commercial director who has operated in the region for over 20 years and brings a wealth of directly relevant transactional and origination experience and contacts.
Before EMAC, Matjaz was a Director of the KD group, the largest Slovenian fund manager, and was responsible for investment strategy, execution and strategic roll-out throughout SE Europe.
Matjaz has worked on numerous real estate transactions including project managing construction of factories, sale of real estate assets following company restructurings, the development of multiplex cinemas in Slovenia, and development of a business centre in Dubrovnik, among others. Matjaz was, until recently, Chairman of the Supervisory Board for the construction of the National Sports Stadium of Slovenia.
He was educated at the University of Ljubljana, BSc in International Economics and at the Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany, MBA in International Business Administration. Matjaz is fluent in Slovene, Croatian, Serbian, English and German and has a working knowledge of Russian.
