A former Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and a highly respected adviser to emerging market governments and non-governmental organisations. He served successively as an Ambassador at the Office of the United Nations High Representative, the institution charged with implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement in Bosnia and as the Head of Pillar IV (Reconstruction & Economic Policy) in Kosovo responsible for all aspects of economic policy and management.
