Russ, former Operational and Political Risk Adviser to Prudential plc now runs Diligence LLC in London. With Prudential he was required to assess operational exposure for Prudential operations in Asia, North America and Europe reporting to the Financial Director of the Prudential Group. Russ joined Prudential from the Royal Marines. During his services career he served in Eastern Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
With Diligence, Russ has been responsible for refining the due diligence service to better reflect the operational risk attached to investing in ‘challenging markets’ and thereby to focus on adding value. He has also assisted in developing the asset management intelligence unit in tandem with his colleagues in the US.
Russ is a Cambridge University graduate and alumnus of London Business School, he is regularly approached to speak on the darker aspects of globalisation by corporate clients.
